District Secretary Honoured with Grand Rank

· 2 min read

The District is delighted to announce that our District Secretary has been honoured by the Supreme Council with the rank of Very Illustrious Brother, in recognition of his many years of dedicated and exemplary service to the Ancient and Accepted Rite.

Years of Devoted Service

Having served as District Secretary for over twelve years, his contribution to the smooth running of the District has been immeasurable. From organising meetings and maintaining records to advising Chapters and supporting new members, his quiet efficiency and unfailing courtesy have been appreciated by all who have worked with him.

“This honour is richly deserved. His tireless work behind the scenes has been the backbone of our District for more than a decade, and we are all deeply grateful.”

A Modest Response

True to form, the recipient received the news with characteristic modesty, expressing his gratitude to the Supreme Council and to the many colleagues who have supported him throughout his time in office. He emphasised that the honour reflects the strength of the District as a whole, rather than the efforts of any one individual.

The formal investiture will take place at the next meeting of the Supreme Council in London. The District extends its warmest congratulations and thanks.
