Annual Charity Dinner: Tickets Now Available

We are delighted to announce that tickets are now available for this year’s Annual Charity Dinner, to be held at the Grand Hotel, Southport on Saturday 18th July 2026.

Event Details

The evening promises to be a splendid occasion, combining excellent food with the warmth of fraternal fellowship that characterises our District. A three-course dinner will be served, accompanied by a programme of entertainment and a charity auction.

All proceeds from the auction and raffle will be directed towards local charitable causes, continuing the proud tradition of benevolence that lies at the heart of our Order.

Ticket Information

Tickets are priced at £55 per person, which includes the three-course dinner, a welcome drink, and wine with the meal. Tables of eight and ten are available for those wishing to book as a group.

Early booking is strongly recommended as the event has sold out in previous years. To secure your place, please contact the District Secretary or your Chapter Recorder.

Dress Code

Gentlemen are requested to wear black tie. Ladies, evening dress. This is always one of the highlights of the District calendar and we look forward to welcoming as many members and their partners as possible.

Summer Garden Party: Save the Date

We are delighted to invite all members and their families to the District’s Summer Garden Party, to be held on Saturday 8th August 2026 at the beautiful Rufford Old Hall in West Lancashire.

An Afternoon to Remember

Set in the stunning grounds of one of Lancashire’s finest Tudor houses, the Garden Party promises to be a relaxed and enjoyable occasion for members and their families. The afternoon will feature live music, a cream tea, children’s entertainment, and guided tours of the Hall and gardens.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the fellowship of the District in an informal setting, and to introduce family members to the wider Masonic community in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Practical Details

The event will run from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Admission is free for members and their immediate families. There will be ample parking on site, and the grounds are largely accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

In the event of poor weather, the Hall’s Great Hall and tearoom will be available as alternative venues. Please RSVP to your Chapter Recorder by 25th July so that we can plan catering accordingly.

Christmas Carol Service at Liverpool Cathedral

The District’s annual Christmas Carol Service will be held at Liverpool’s magnificent Anglican Cathedral on Saturday 13th December 2026 at 4:00 pm. This much-loved event brings together members from across the District to celebrate the festive season in one of the country’s most awe-inspiring buildings.

A Festive Tradition

The Carol Service has become one of the most popular events in the District calendar, attracting members and their families from all 19 Chapters. The service includes traditional carols, seasonal readings, and music from the Cathedral choir, all within the magnificent setting of the largest cathedral in Britain.

The Inspector General will deliver a seasonal address, reflecting on the year past and looking forward to the year ahead with hope and fellowship.

After the Service

Following the service, light refreshments will be served in the Cathedral’s Western Rooms. This provides a wonderful opportunity for members to greet friends from other Chapters and to share the warmth of the season before the Christmas break.

All members, their families, and friends are warmly invited. No tickets are required, though we ask that you let your Chapter Recorder know if you plan to attend so we can ensure adequate refreshments are provided.
